Hey everyone, welcome! I’m Kid K and you’re about to get an inside look at what inspired my family to create Doodlelidz. 

My parents say I’ve been creating and doodling characters since I was four years old, each inspired by my love of anime, gaming and YouTube cartoonists. Until now, they’ve all lived in my sketch pads. But one day my dad had this great idea for how we can bring them to life—by putting my characters on hats that can be shared with kids all over!

We’re a 100% Canadian-owned and operated company (my parents said it’s important to let you know). They’re in charge of the business (a.k.a. they monitor the piggy-bank) and I’m the “Doodle-ist” who comes up with new characters we can add to the collection. 

With that, we’re excited to introduce you to our first batch of doodles—Niko, Abbee, Hiro, Finn and Milo.
